Cat. #00151111121: HARRY HAYDEN

Highly rare vintage day player agreement for Up in Arms (1943), boldly signed in black fountain pen, alongside a signature of a Samuel Goldwyn staff member.  In good condition, with some inter-office notations in pencil and gentle toning throughout.  Note that the image of the star shown alongside the scan of the signed document here is not actually included with the piece.  Bespectacled character actor Harry Hayden typically played officious or snooping types in classic films like Fury (1935), The Case of the Black Cat (1936), Angels with Dirty Faces (1938), Charlie Chan in Reno (1939), The House of Fear (1939), Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1939), High Sierra (1941), Hold That Ghost (1941), This Gun for Hire (1942), Yankee Doddle Dandy (1942), Whispering Ghosts (1942), The Pride of the Yankees (1942), Tales of Manhattan (1942), The Palm Beach Story (1942), DuBarry Was a Lady (1943), horror's The Lady and the Monster (1943), Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo (1944), Hail the Conquering Hero (1944), The Thin Man Goes Home (1945), Notorious (1946), Till the Clouds Roll By (1946), and Intruder in the Dust (1949).
