Kazuhisa Sako
Time-consuming Kyoto shibori patterns
Hikita-kanoko is a spotted pattern on the back of a deer and is one of the Kyoto shibori techniques.
The entire teacup is beautifully carved without gaps by laser processing, similar to the sophisticated technique used to perfectly match the pattern on a furisode kimono.
No paint is used on purpose, allowing the grain of the wood to shine through.
Wood has low thermal conductivity, so it is easy to hold even when filled with hot beverages, and the rugged pattern prevents slipping.
This product adds color to celebratory occasions and is recommended as a gift.
